The new wave of auto flowering hybrids is finally here, and leading from the front is the Automatic AK47! Our first foray into the auto flowering world and still our favourite. Crossing the very best Serious Seeds AK47 we could find with the auto flowering genes of the original Lowryder, we have produced a strain that is the perfect blend of the two. Everything that we loved about the AK47 has been left intact from its beautiful aroma and resin encrusted buds through to its unique bud structure and astonishing potency. The cross with Lowryder means that now it can be grown virtually anywhere. Balconies, patios, window boxes, indoors or outdoors, connoisseur grade marijuana is now attainable for every grower. Auto flowering strains flower in response to age rather than light cycle. Auto AK47 will grow vegetatively for approximately 14 days then enter into a rapid, almost violent flowering period. For the next 56 days they will branch out profusely, throw out pistils in their thousands, calyxes will swell and a coating of resin glands will make the mature plant glisten as if dusted with fine diamonds. Odour levels are quite high and a large quantity of flowering females can certainly produce quite an aroma! Previously, especially in the northern hemisphere, the average grower was limited to the strains one could grow successfully. Now with Automatic AK47 you can grow marijuana that before, many would have no chance of fully ripening under natural outdoor conditions. With a lifespan of a mere 70 days from seed to harvest it is not only possible to get an early harvest of high quality marijuana but multiple harvests per season. Indoors, a perpetual harvest has never been easier to maintain. The increased height compared to earlier auto flowering strains brings with it increased yield. Indoors under lights is the optimum growing environment for Automatic AK47, coupled with a light regime of 20/4 and adequate root space, yield can easily surpass 40g per plant, there are even reports of up to 5oz per plant but even outdoors with no supplemental lighting during summer, 30g per plant is very common. We believe that our Automatic AK47 is by far the best auto flowering hybrid available, we believe it is the most potent and by far the heaviest yielder.

Everyone wants to grow Blueberry, just the name appeals to your senses. Think of Blueberry and you can almost taste it and smell it. Well I’m happy to tell you that if you grow our Auto Blueberry, your senses will be satisfied! Auto Blueberry is a cross of DJ Shorts Blueberry and the original Lowryder. A lot of growers have found normal Blueberry to be sensitive to over feeding and to not actually smell too fruity. We couldn’t fix both issues but I think we reached a good half way. Auto Blueberry is, unfortunately, still quite nutrient sensitive and as such, should be fed more lightly than other strains but on the plus side, we’ve managed to get her consistently smelling (and tasting) fruity. The difficulty rating of 6/10 is a reflection of her nutrient sensitivity and intolerance to root restriction, the growing medium should also never be allowed to get too dry or she will punish you with a severe lack of performance. If you start seeds in 5litre pots, feed lightly and never allow the medium to dry out, she will reward you with an extremely resinous and bulky main cola, medium branching with plenty of smaller, frosty nuggets and a truly delicious strong and fruity, berry-like aroma. An excellent hash making strain, her potency is amongst the best we have to offer.

Automatic Hindu Kush is truly for the indica lover.  She may only grow to 14” at the very most but the buds are thick and rock hard, and with such a coating of resin that she is our best and most efficient resin producing strain. A mix of Hindu Kush, Master Kush and Lowryder, our Automatic Hindu Kush does not branch out as much or grow as tall as our Automatic AK47 but they also do not require as much root space, this enables more to be grown in the same area. In 1 square metre for example you may be able to fit twice as many Automatic Hindu Kush as you could Automatic AK47.  We feel that this more than makes up for it’s individual size. Being an indica, the high of the Automatic Hindu Kush can be quite narcotic in its qualities and can induce sleep or deep relaxation quite effortlessly. Not a strain you should be smoking if you intend to go dancing, play sports or indeed anything that requires you to use your legs.

Auto Lemon Skunk was developed using a lemon pheno Skunk#1 that we’ve been keeping as a clone mother for almost 15 years and the original Lowryder. Although Skunk#1 is the building block for plenty of modern stable hybrids, many find it to be quite variable in its phenotypes and the discovery of a lemon scented pheno was something to treasure. Having grown it every season since 1994, the transition to creating an auto flowering version seemed obvious and so the initial F1 cross with Lowryder was made. 2 years and 6 generations later, we have something we are now very pleased with and we hope you like it too. Auto Lemon Skunk is one of our shorter varieties, rarely exceeding 14 inches tall and usually forming one central cola with minimal branching. Plants are very symmetrical (just look down from above) and have a good but not extreme coating of resin. The high and aroma is the Auto Lemon Skunks strongpoint. The high is a balance between the speedy high of a sativa and the couch lock of an indica, a true all-day smoke and of course the aroma is that of over ripe lemons. The difficulty rating of 6/10 is because the Auto Lemon Skunk does not like having its roots restricted or to become dry, it’s slightly sensitive to over feeding and spider mites will choose this strain over almost any other. The best way around these issues would be to start seeds in 5litre pots or bigger, never allow the growing medium to get too dry, feed lightly and ensure high humidity during it’s early stages. Even so, a spider mite targeting insecticide may be required at some stage. A rewarding strain if you are prepared to look after it.

White Russian is a favourite strain of growers around the world so it made perfect sense to give it the auto flowering treatment. One of the last of our original strains created with the original Lowryder to be released, Auto White Russian is an auto flowering cross of a Serious Seeds White Russian female with an original Lowryder. Like the Serious mother, the Auto White Russian will frost up most during the last few weeks of its life and 48 hours of darkness just prior to harvest will maximise this. One of our easiest strains to grow, she likes to be started from seed, directly into 5litre containers and will not punish you for a certain degree of neglect but don’t allow the growing medium to dry out too much. Reliably flowering from 14 days old she regularly grows up to 14” tall, sometimes slightly more with a good central cola and medium branching supporting good frosty nuggets. The smoke can be slightly rough around the edges but that is a common observation with all of the white strains, the potency makes up for this and would be described as a balanced, all-day smoke.
