We carefully selected original Haze seeds from our 30 year old seedbank to create this variety. She is 80/20 sativa/indica with 15%-20% THC and is a cross of our Super Haze with a very special clone of Amnesia. The high is powerful and fast with a clear uplifting sativa high and a strong Haze accent. The taste is fresh, sour, strong and old-school Hazey. OutLaw will stretch more than most, perhaps 50cm after switching to flower, and grows well with the SCROG method.
Although she can be harvested as early as 9 weeks, a full 12 week flower period may be required for best taste, yield and high. She grows well in all grow mediums with perhaps the best yields in hydro where yields of up to 500g/m2 are possible, classifying this as a high production variety.

Delving into the 30 year old Dutch Passion genebank, Freddy created a 3-way cross between Chocolope, Dutch Haze and a special, unnamed Sativa. Freddy’s connoisseur taste targets were met with a unique aroma and delicious flavours with hints of cocoa as well as earthy scents, with a sweet and spicy taste.

These days many strains are bred with yield as an understandably important consideration, but not Dark Delight. Dark Delight is a strain of pure indulgence for the connoisseur. This is an Indica dominant feminised strain that has been bred with the sole goal of producing the finest sensimilla possible. The strain took an exotic multi-blend of North American, Afghanistan and European genetics to give this 75% Indica/25% Sativa strain which produces an exquisite and fantastic ganja.
The plants grow up to 1.5m and produce dense bud in medium quantities with very few leaves making her easy to trim. The leaves take on a dark appearance which is how she got the name. Some leaves can be nearly black towards the end of the 8-10 week flowering period. Outdoors or in greenhouses she is ready around the middle of October. Dark Delight is ideally suited to indoor and greenhouse production though it will perform well outdoors at southerly latitudes.
Dark Delight burns with a rich thick aroma which will remind you of the best Mujahideen Afghani hash from the 1980's. You experience a smooth, mellow and satisfying stone with long lasting effects. The smoke is a delightful one, and that is where the second part of the name comes from. We consider Ortega Indica a medicinal cannabis variety. Ortega Indica is a hybrid of Northern Lights #1 and another strong Indica, both dating back to the late seventies. Extremely penetrating odour/aroma: earthy, spicy and tobacco.
Our seven-person test team reported that Ortega Indica is a good variety to smoke before going to sleep, a feature present in all Indica strains, but more extreme in Ortega Indica. It works as an effective sleeping pill and tranquilizer.
Ortega Indica is special in that it’s "stone/high" does not have a cloudy "morning after effect". In other words, the morning after smoking Ortega Indica, almost no cannabis effects are experienced any more. Smoke Ortega Indica and wake up with a clear mind. This is seldom the experience after taking sleeping pills or tranquilizers. Ortega Indica plants stay small (dwarf-like) and compact and are quite homogenous. The stoned/high is medium strong. Dutch Haze is a rare find, the result of extensive breeding. The strain has good mould and spider mite resistance, it is 90% Sativa/10% Indica. Through careful breeding we have created one of our most important strains, we call it “The Ultimate” as it combines some of the heaviest yields we have ever seen with genuine connoisseur quality.
It grows to a height of 60-75cm, ideal for the indoor grow room. Flowering time is 8-10 weeks, with explosive bud growth in the last 2 weeks. The Ultimate (50% Indica, 50% Sativa) will take plenty of nutrients during the growth cycle and is resistant to moulds and bud rot making it a good greenhouse choice too.

For the creation of Dutch Cheese ( 60% Sativa, 40% Indica) our breeders took the best cheese genetics and crossed them with various other strains. We were looking for the ‘perfect match’, where two stable strains can be crossed to give a new variety that improves on both of the parents. The ideal genetics to improve Cheese eventually came from our “Euforia” - a potent Skunk selection and a personal favorite of some of the Dutch Passion team.
The crossbreeding with Euforia has not compromised the cheesy qualities at all. But it has given improved potency and significant yield improvements, growing to a height of 60-80cm with lots of sticky side buds that show some internodal spacing that will help prevent bud rot/mould – an important feature for a heavy-yielding variety. This acclaimed new addition to the Dutch Passion family is a particularly potent indoor/greenhouse strain with an incredible soaring sativa high, using pure genetics directly from the Laos/Vietnam jungle area. The main features of this special strain are the incredible ‘happy and smiley’ sativa stone and the high yields associated with the huge growth potential.
Our smoke test team gave this a top-class rating, an old school ‘retro’ high with a great herbal taste. It has a refreshing aroma and a notable long lasting clean ‘up’ high that clears the mind and completely relaxes the body. The high is good for socialising as well as creativity.

After an absence of 10 years Dutch Passion are pleased to announce the return of Night Queen . Night Queen was an original 1980’s Dutch Passion classic, around even before Dutch Passion became a registered seed company. Our 1987 catalogue describes Night Queen as a broadleaved Afghani Indica which was popular with hardcore stoners for the intense body stone. We upgraded Night Queen in 1997 but sales dropped as growers opted for the newer strains and hybrids which were being introduced at the time. Reluctantly Night Queen was withdrawn from our collection.
We have had many requests to bring Night Queen back and so we did. Our goal was to re-create an Indica which would meet the world class standards achieved by our multiple award winning Mazar. The outcome was a crystal covered, fast early flowering and typically indica variety which is easy to grow and resistant to pests and fungus. The new Night Queen is forgiving and very easy to take cuttings from, a perfect mother plant. She is short and will suit indoor growers looking at SOG/SCROG techniques. The name is an accurate one since most of the plants are a very dark green, almost black. The females are quite special, dark, beautiful and with heavy harvests of frosty, hard and dense bud growth – these are real Queens. High THC and CBD levels will appeal to medical growers, as will the very generous yields of over 500grams/m² under good conditions.
Night Queen is one of those rare genuine hash-plant smokes, a rich Afghani Indica heritage producing highly potent resin-frosted bud. Night Queen is a heavy yielder with all the earthy aromas you hope for in a top quality marijuana strain with the addition of some spicy flavours that the old-timers and connoisseurs will savour. De Blauwe Familie
De Blauwe familie (Blueberry, Flo, Blue Moonshine en Skywalker), is in de afgelopen jaren succesvol door ons op de markt gebracht. Succesvolle en traditionele variëteiten, voor Europa echter nieuwe genetische lijnen. Deze varieteiten zijn een frisse wind door de wat stoffige Hollandse genenpool, die voornamelijk bestaat uit kruisingen tussen Skunk, Northern Lights en Haze. De genetica van de Blauwe Familie bestaat voornamelijk uit Oaxacan (een legendarische Mexicaanse sativa), Thai en een Indica varieteit.Alle leden van de "Blauwe Familie" vertonen blauwe en rood tot lila schakeringen op de schutbladen, bladeren en stammen, afhankelijk van de temperatuur in de bloeitijd. Hoe kouder, des te meer kleur. Dus, in de volle grond gekweekt (Zuid Europa) is deze eigenschap een stuk duidelijker, dan wanneer onder kunstlicht gekweekt wordt.De bladeren van de leden van de "Blauwe Familie" kunnen witte plekken en strepen vertonen. Dit vertraagd de groei niet. Het is specifiek voor deze soort. In de eerste drie weken van de bloei groeien de varieteiten uit de "Blauwe Familie" langzamer dan andere varieteiten. Na de derde week van de bloei halen ze dit in en zorgen voor een prachtige oogst.
After many years in our genebank Blue Velvet, sister of our famous Blueberry, is back. Blue Velvet is 50% indica/50% sativa although the indica genetics are the dominant ones which tend to be expressed more clearly. The parent genetics come from Purple Thai (a cross of Oaxaca Gold and a special Chocolate Thai) and a powerful Afghani Indica. In the 1990’s Dutch Passion worked together with the original Blueberry breeder, this was the time when Dutch Passion first introduced the Blueberry family into Europe. Blue Velvet has been bred using original seed-stock from that 1990’s breeding project.
She produces a fast-hitting and velvety smooth high. Indoors Blue Velvet will give good yields, though she will often remain short at around 50-60cm, therefore she is good in SOG (sea-of-green) grows.
Blue Velvet forms a sturdy main bloom frosted with lots of resin, indoors she requires 8 weeks to flower. Outdoors she is ready by the end of September/early October. She may show blue colourations especially when exposed to cooler indoor growing conditions or when grown outdoors. When grown outdoors in a good climate Blue Velvet can reach 2-3m tall. Blue Velvet is easy to take cuttings from and able to take reasonably high nutrient levels. She is celebrated for an uplifting and euphoric high with a fruity floral taste. Blue Velvet is an old classic and connoisseur favourite, very potent and highly recommended.

Blueberry (1st prize HTCC 2000, 3rd prize HTCC 2001) and Mazar (2nd prize HTCC 1999, 2nd price High Life Cup 2002) are the two unbeatable Indicas in our seed collection. Skywalker is a hybrid product of a Mazar female and a Blueberry male. The intention was to create one of the best Indicas in the world. The special Blueberry taste and aroma are combined in this hybrid with the vigor and yield of Mazar. Blueberry characteristics such as “curling leaves”, slow initial growth, and bluish hues have disappeared in this hybrid, while taste, aroma (fruity and fresh), and the quality of the “high” are retained. Grown from clones at “Sea of Green”, these seeds will yield about 400 gr./m2 under optimum conditions.
