Dutch Passion Fem Ortega Indica (5seeds)

We consider Ortega Indica a medicinal cannabis variety. Ortega Indica is a hybrid of Northern Lights #1 and another strong Indica, both dating back to the late seventies. Extremely penetrating odour/aroma: earthy, spicy and tobacco.

Our seven-person test team reported that Ortega Indica is a good variety to smoke before going to sleep, a feature present in all Indica strains, but more extreme in Ortega Indica. It works as an effective sleeping pill and tranquilizer.

Ortega Indica is special in that it’s "stone/high" does not have a cloudy "morning after effect". In other words, the morning after smoking Ortega Indica, almost no cannabis effects are experienced any more. Smoke Ortega Indica and wake up with a clear mind. This is seldom the experience after taking sleeping pills or tranquilizers. Ortega Indica plants stay small (dwarf-like) and compact and are quite homogenous. The stoned/high is medium strong. Best results indoor and also greenhouses in temperate climates. Compact buds, medium yielder.

La Lybella is a 90 % sativa variety. Its characteristics are a great addition to our seed collection.

La Lybella is an open plant with many well developed buds. The spicy scent makes this variety a pleasant smoke. The clear, energizing up high makes you want to move! Don’t use La Lybella before going to sleep. Heavy THC accumulation starts the fourth week of flowering. Give seedlings at least two weeks of 18-hour days before flowering for maximum yield. Medium yield of excellent sativa indoors. Little trimming. Outdoors till late October (pest resistant). Grown outdoor in the Mediterranean La Lybella stands for a superior Sativa yield.

The genetics of the strain were selected by Jorge from the 25 year old "Research Gene Pool" of Dutch Passion.

Jorge's Diamond is a unique resin-packed indica-dominant strain that is potent, sweet, flavorful and incredibly smooth smoking. The rare indica-dominant genes are mixed with just the right amount of sativa to give the smoke a very strong soaring long-lasting high. The exceptional taste and aroma are fruity and sweet. The insatiable taste is sweet and similar to wild honey smothered in raspberries. The strain is almost maintenance free, also spider mites and other pests know to leave Jorge’s Diamonds #1 alone. Dutch Passion Fem Perplex (5seeds)

Perplex is an extremely homogenous variety, which means that it is hard to distinguish between buds grown from seed or clones. Hints of Grapefruit and other underlying fruity aromas characterize this variety. This Indica-dominant variety produces an extremely resinous heavy harvest. Heavyweight buds make staking or a trellis necessary. Supply extra ventilation after the 6th week of flowering to prevent mold in dense buds. High levels of THCV are characteristic of this variety, as a result the high is strong and fast. A must when looking for a commercial indoor yielder.

Dutch Passion Fem Strawberry Cough (5seeds)

The "Strawberry Cough" genetics are of North American origin and partly uniquely European. "Strawberry Cough" is a hybrid between an Indica and a Sativa. From this hybrid we made a selection having about 80% Sativa influences. We have used this selection for the production of our "Strawberry Cough" Seeds. Our "Production and Research Team" has succeeded in creating the fruitiest variety imaginable. The fresh strawberry taste and aroma are very evident and wonderful to experience. Strawberry has an "up high" effect of medium THC -strength. The plants are beautiful to look at. The total flowering time takes about 9 weeks. The first and most powerful growth spurt of flowers ends in week four, the second at week 9. "Strawberry Cough" is easy to grow and does not need a strong fertilizing scheme. Standard fertilizing will do for good results. Individual plants will grow to medium height. Are you ready for the "Strawberry Experience"?

Dutch Passion Fem Sacra Frasca (5seeds)

"Sacra Frasca" or "Holy Joint" is a F1 - hybrid between Power Plant and Skunk Passion, both true-breeding varieties. Power Plant, is a renowned variety like White Widow or Orange Bud, which you will find in almost any coffeeshop in the Dutch cities.. a result we are very proud of. This variety is only available in its feminized form. For the creation of this hybrid we used feminized Skunk Passion "pollen" to fertilize a female Power Plant. Therefore the features of Power Plant are most pronounced in this hybrid. Very potent and energetic uphigh, caused by the hybrid vigor of combining two genetically very different Sativas. Sacra Frasca also gives very good yields in a greenhouse. Through the "open" Sativa growth pattern a very mold resistent variety. Respectable yield. Bracts and also fan leaves carry lots of resin.

Dutch Passion Fem BrainStorm (5seeds)

This variety was strongly improved in 1998, a breakthrough in the development of this variety. A sturdy plant with the power and yield of the famous Northern Lights #5. Hybridized with the best of our potent 100% Haze genetics. This variety has a solid, strong long lasting "high", combined with a well balanced, soft smoking experience. Good for bumper harvests. A perfect variety to select clones from.

Dutch Passion Fem Powerplant (5seeds)

Powerplant (mostly Sativa) was developed by us in 1997 from new South African genetics. This strain has been inbred only, never hybridised. Very rich in THC. It is a strain with an enormous grow potential. Indoor as well as in a greenhouse the plants have an enormous yield. Indoors flowering starts already one week after turning back the lightcycle to 12 hours. Outdoor, flowering starts late, but the plants ripen very fast. This variety is very uniform. Strong “up high”, very soft smoke.

Skunk Passion is back. Developed from our 007 Skunk-line. A surprising improvement. In smoke tests by our test team, again and again praised for its special qualities. This variety is mainly Sativa and will amaze you by its yield. The buds are not especially hard, but then again rich in glands and equipped with many beautiful long hairs. Buds of 25 cm are no exception. It takes 8 to 9 weeks to bloom, but your patience will be richly rewarded. Guarantees a beautiful quality harvest. The high is slowly rising , may take several hours and diminishes slowly after that. Recommended.

This variety made Dutch Passion the “High Times Cannabis Cup” winner in 1992. Formerly this strain was called “Haze/Skunk". Still one of the best for the Dutch Passion team. Originally Haze is a pure Sativa strain. It is crossed with Skunk#1 to get a bigger yield and a shorter flowering period. Truly superior sweet Haze aroma. The high is incredibly clear and "up energy". A very favorite strain from our collection. Very high yield for an almost 100% Sativa variety.

Dutch Passion Fem California Orange (5seeds)

A stabilized hybrid, inbred since 1980. Can be extremely resinous, even the leaves. 50% Sativa, 50% Indica. Some plants have a pronounced citrus aroma and flavour. Very strong, fairly clear high. Yields are slightly above average.

In our Swiss experiment, we flowered several Dutch and Swiss Skunk clones and several Skunk seed varieties. The goal was to select the best possible Skunk. By hybridizing the best two Skunks, we created Ultra Skunk, a very homogenous variety. Thick buds with beautiful wooly pistils. The taste is sweet, soft and fruity. The resulting “high” is up, soft but lasting.

Dutch Passion Fem Dolce Vita (5seeds)

Dolce Vita, is a F1- hybrid between two Sativas. We combined our renowned Power Plant, by using it's feminized "pollen" with an Isis female. In this variety the Isis characteristics are most outspoken. Very clear Sativa "high" and subtle taste and aroma. Medium yield of hard crystallized bud. Special. Allow two weeks for vegatative growth after the seedling has stabalized, then start flowering.

This is an upgraded selection of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we managed to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shariff) part is a very short christmastree- like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with Skunk#1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good “up” high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring is very consistent too.

Green Spirit is a hybrid of Big Bud and Skunk #1. We made this hybrid because Big Bud itself is not a very consistent strain, with very big differences among individual plants. By crossing Big Bud and Skunk #1, Green Spirit became quite homogeneous. Good results under artificial lights. Clear and strong high. The plants have an explosive flowering and are extremely resinous. Very high yield.

The most rewarded variety of recent years in Holland. The plants are white of THC-glands, even on big parts of the fan leaves. A very soft smoke and great “High”.

Dutch Passion Fem Isis (5seeds)

We only produce this variety in its feminized form. In this way the “connoisseur” is guaranteed absolutely premium “Sativa” seeds. This variety has been selected from “Seed Bank” genetics. A female mother plant was chosen from among 50 female plants grown from seed. After cloning this female, different clones were treated to produce abundant “female pollen”. By fertilizing other clones (backcrossing), feminized seeds were produced. Growing seeds in this way guarantees offspring that are far more homogenous and powerful than offspring from seeds produced in the regular manner. Mostly Sativa, with a clear Haze influence. First class “high”. Branches bow down at the end of the lifecycle of the plant, due to the weight of the buds.

SnowBud is our second “High Altitude” variety. SnowBud is a hybrid of Afghani and South African genetics. As with Pamir Gold the selection work is done in the Swiss Alpes. SnowBud (60% Sat./ 40% Ind.) has a spicy (cinnamon), skunky smell and taste, smokes very smooth and has a medium “up high”. Healthy plants may reach 1.8 till 2.2 meters outdoors. Mold and mildew resistant. Yield: above average. Does also well indoors.The name SnowBud refers to the huge amount of white pistils in the female flowers (buds).

Pamir Gold originated in the western Himalayas of Tadzjikistan. The plant was adapted to the high altitudes of the Swiss Alpes during several years of selective breeding. Once selected seeds were reproduced in the Netherlands. Pamir Gold is a mostly Indica variety (60% - 40%) having a sweet earthy taste with a breath of lemon and pear. Healthy plants are 1.5 to 1.8 meters in height outdoors. Mold and mildew resistant. Yield: above average. Does also well indoors. Subtile stone/high.

Dutch Passion Fem Frisian Dew (5seeds)

The most beautiful outdoor variety we have ever encountered. A Super Skunk female x Purple Star male, seen after 3 years of selecting clones. Although we produced many Skunk/Purple hybrids in the past 20 years, we have never seen anything coming close to this hybrid. Light purple coulour.(50% Indica, 50% Sativa). Very high yielder, very good stem to leave ratio (only little leaves). Not susceptible to mold. Absolute premium quality outdoor strain. A must for the outdoor grower.

Dutch Passion Fem Passion 1 (5seeds)

Passion #1 is an Indica variety developed in California in the seventies and has been grown outdoors in Holland since 1980. Smokes soft with a citruslike aroma and has a good high. Easy to grow, grows with long compact resinous buds. One of the best green outdoor varieties worldwide.

One of the first Dutch Outdoor strains, grown in Holland since the early eighties. A heavy Indica variety with a knock-out stoned. Very mold resistant. Recommended.

Dutch Passion Fem Trance (5seeds)

An upgrade of our former variety Skunk/Indica. With 100% Skunk seeds, it's not possible to grow fully mature outdoor plants, because the seeds were selected for growing under artifical lights and greenhouse. Skunk was crossed with an early Indica, to let it mature sooner and to make the plant stronger for outdoor conditions. This is the F1 generation. It has come out as a very nice strain.

Dutch Passion Fem Purple 1 (5seeds)

A strong plant (50% Indica, 50% Sativa), easy to grow. Purple Afghan seeds have been crossed in Holland with Indica and Sativa varieties since 1983. The plants are fully adapted to the Dutch climate and have a respectable yield. This variety has calyxes that turn purple, starting at the beginning of flowering. Up to 90% of the plants turn purple. Has a rough, but subtle aroma and a very good high.

Dutch Passion Fem Shaman (5seeds)

This is our former variety Purple /Skunk. This variety is a hybrid (F1) of Purple#1 and an early Skunk. About 50% of the plants turn purple during flowering. The variety is 87,5% Sativa and 12,5% Indica.

Dutch Passion Fem Durban Poison (5seeds)

Imported from South Africa, produced in Holland. Exclusively inbred, never hybridized, 100% Sativa. Large long budleaves, buds are also large and long with lots of resin. A sweet licorice or anise flavour. “Up” high similar to Thai. High yields. Well suited for outcrossing with late bloomers to produce earlier flowering. Also does very well under artificial light. A very popular variety.

A "high" scoring recently developed variety. Developed from Thai and Brasil strains and crossed with an early Dutch strain. Originally developed for outdoors.

Dutch Passion Fem Skywalker (5seeds)

Blueberry (1st prize HTCC 2000, 3rd prize HTCC 2001) and Mazar (2nd prize HTCC 1999, 2nd price High Life Cup 2002) are the two unbeatable Indicas in our seed collection. Skywalker is a hybrid product of a Mazar female and a Blueberry male. The intention was to create one of the best Indicas in the world. The special Blueberry taste and aroma are combined in this hybrid with the vigor and yield of Mazar. Blueberry characteristics such as “curling leaves”, slow initial growth, and bluish hues have disappeared in this hybrid, while taste, aroma (fruity and fresh), and the quality of the “high” are retained. Grown from clones at “Sea of Green”, these seeds will yield about 400 gr./m2 under optimum conditions.

Dutch Passion Fem Blueberry (5seeds)

Our Original Blueberry is a mostly Indica (80% Indica, 20% Sativa) strain, that dates to the late 1970’s. A large producer under optimum conditions. A dense and stout plant with red, purple and finally blue hues, that usually cure to a lavender blue. The finished product has a very fruity aroma and taste of blueberry. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the highest quality and is very long lasting. Medium to large calyxes. “Blueberry” has a long shelf life.

Dutch Passion Fem Flo (5seeds)

Original Flo is a Sativa/Indica cross (60% Sativa/ 40% Indica) with very Sativa phenotypic characteristics that also matures very early. The large, tight, spear-shaped buds are made up of small, densely packed purple calyxes. The plants are taller and like to branch out. Indoors the buds are fully mature by the end of their sixth week. Outdoors the plant is a super producer when multi-harvested over a period of time. The first buds are ripe around the third week of September. “Flo” is ideal for greenhouse production. The motivational “high” produced by the “Flo” is quite unique, the flavor is like Nepalese Temple Hash. A most pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Dutch Passion Fem Blue Moonshine (5seeds)

Blue Moonshine is one of the earliest maturing members of the Blue Family. This hybrid originated in the early 1990s. Not a commercial variety, this super potent Blueberry – Indica, covered with standing THC trichomes. Taste and high are impressive, a connaiseurs delight. Characteristic is the long lasting narcotic body high. The average yield is is compensated by the pure quality of the smoke. Short (80 cm) stout Kush plants that produce dense, tight, rock-hard nuggets of trichome-coated bud. A true "hash plant".

Dutch Passion Fem Taiga (5seeds)

Taiga is an hybrid between an auto-flowering Ruderalis/Indica and Power Plant. From our famous Power Plant gene pool we selected an extreme early flowering female Power Plant. This female we used to produce the female pollen. These pollen we used to fertilze the female Ruderalis/Indica.
Taiga grows with big compact buds. The smell and taste are evident Power Plant. Taiga is a very good yielder for such a small plant. Taiga does not ask for a special fertilizing regime, which means that it’s easy to grow. Containers of 1.5 to 2 liters are sufficient to garantee a good harvest. Taiga loves a place in the sun, which she needs for a quality yield. Taiga has a short lifecycle, from seed to bud 8 to 10 weeks.

Tundra is an hybrid between an autoflowering Ruderalis/Indica and our outdoor champion Passion #1. We chose Passion #1 for it’s outstanding “outdoor” qualities: healty (pestresistant), strong and early flowering, soft smoke and superb taste. Spicy, lemon and grapefruit.Small bushy plants. Mild Up-High.
